Our Legacy.

Trinidad's Legacy Rodeo has roots that run deep back to 1910. From 1910 to 2022 The Trinidad Round Up Association ran the Iconic Labor Day Rodeo and Parade each September in Trinidad, CO. In 2022, the association wanted to retire and a new organization took the reins in 2023. We strive to continue the tradition of providing a family-friendly event that showcases the talents of our local cowboys and cowgirls.

2023 was just a glimpse of what we have planned for the future of this great Rodeo Weekend and Parade. In the 113th year we brought in a night of just Bull Riding and Barrel Racing, and National Recording Artist Justin Champagne in Concert. We brought back a CPRA Sanctioned Rodeo and even included a Ranch Rodeo. The Parade time changed to adjust for the train, and we are proud to say, this is just the beginning!

In 2024 expect more traditions brought back, Including the community BBQ, Kick off Dance & More! From Friday to Monday we will have things going on, including 3 concerts, and much, much more!

Check back often as we will update our website as things are set in stone for the 114th year of the Labor Day Rodeo!
